Travel by Rail from the UK 

For railway enthusiasts, or anybody living within easy reach of London Waterloo (or Kings Cross St. Pancras from 14th November 2007) or Ashford International, the fast and efficient EUROSTAR is an excellent alternative to air travel. Most resorts can be reached in one day. With EUROSTAR travel from London to Cologne is less than 5 hours.

Getting around by Rail in Germany 

Germany offers a great railway network making every part of the country easily accessible in an environmentally aware way.

Relax and enjoy the views on one of the regional trains, or take the ultra modern ICE (InterCity Express) to travel between the major cities with speeds of up to 300 kilometres per hour.

Germany's privatised national railway, the Deutsche Bahn, offers great deals on overnight trains and on long term travel passes such as the 'InterRail Germany Pass'. All major airports are also linked by the railway network and are therefore easy to reach.
