Skilled in his hometown Hamburg Volker Nissen has gained lots of experience in famous European kitchens such as Claridge's in London, the Montreux Palace (Switzerland) and in Michelin restaurants in the Elsace. Having worked as chef in numerous restaurants in Hamburg, he now owns the successful London based "ESSENTIAL INGREDIENT Catering". In addition to its successful international food, ESSENTIAL INGREDIENT offers a significant range of German specialties to the German community in London and food enthusiasts interested in tasting the unique flavours of German cuisine.
