Begin your journey in the city of Leipzig, where you will enjoy a 2 night stay in the 5-star Westin Hotel, situated in the heart of the city. Just a short distance south-east of Leipzig is the town of Colditz with its impressive castle, formerly the infamous prisoner of war camp. Steeped in historic culture, Colditz is definitely well worth a visit.
Drive to Weimar, once the home to such luminaries as Goethe and Schiller. Stay for a night in the 5-star Grand Hotel Russischer Hof.
