Steiff's Cuddly Toys
Margarete Steiff GmbH is the world's best-known manufacturer of high-quality Teddy bears and plush animals for the toy and gift sectors, as well as for collectors.
The Teddy has already celebrated his 100th birthday!
Created and developed by Richard Steiff, he first saw the light of day in Giengen in 1902. Looking at him, you can't tell that his appearance dates back to the turn of the last century and has stayed more or less the same since that time. How he has managed to uphold his role as the eternally young companion of young and old alike and become the most popular toy of all time remains his secret.
