Fascinating Wine Traditions in Würzburg

Fascinating Traditions: Local Wines, "Bocksbeutel" & Co.

Quaint restaurants and traditional wine taverns offering local cuisine, you'll find all this in one of the best wine-growing areas of Germany.

While here, you'll not only have to try our wine, you need to drink it out of the traditional "Bocksbeutel" (a uniquely shaped bottle) to get the full flavor.

Aside from the well-established, traditional wineries "Juliusspital," "Bürgerspital," "Staatlicher Hofkeller" etc., young wine growers are making new, non-traditional wines for a younger generation of wine connoisseurs.
