There are wine festivals everywhere in the country. The two biggest ones are Stuttgart Wine Village (Stuttgarter Weindorf) and Heilbronn Wine Village (Heilbronner Weindorf).

From 27th August until 7th September 2008 connoisseurs and wine lovers from all over the world will come to sample the fruits of summer at the Marketplace and Schiller Square near the Old Palace. In over 120 tastefully decorated stalls more than 250 exquisite wines from Württemberg can be sampled. To accompany them, Stuttgart's chefs serve Swabian specialities such as Maultaschen (filled pasta squares), Kässpätzle (noodles with cheese) and Schupfnudeln (potato noodles) with Sauerkraut. You can be sure of a sociable and friendly atmosphere while you enjoy cheerful conversation and make new friends over a glass of wine.
