Tall ships and windjammers from around the world will be heading for Travemünde this summer to celebrate the 'Sail Travemünde'.

The seaside resort of Travemünde is one of the host ports of the association "Baltic Sail" besides the harbours of Klaipeda (Lithuania), Halmstad (Sweden), Gdansk (Poland), Karlskrona (Sweden), Rostock and Helsingör (Denmark).

Each year hundreds of thousands of visitors discover the charm of the maritime heritage when the traditional vessels and museum ships conquer the seaports on their criss-cross cruise through the Baltic Sea.
