Take a ride on the Hunsrückbahn, Germany’s steepest standard gauge railway, which passes through five tunnels and crosses two viaducts on its spectacular ascent from Boppard to Buchholz, climbing 300 m in 8 km. It’s a great hike back to Boppard from here.
