The Rhineland-Palatinate & SaarlandCard offers great savings on 140 attractions between April and November. (Public transport not included).
The card gives free admission to many destinations in the Eifel and Westerwald regions, along the Ahr and Moselle rivers, on the Romantic Rhine, in the Nahe and Hunsrück regions, and in Rheinhessen and the Palatinate. It can also be used to save money in Saarland, Rhineland-Palatine's south-western neighbor.
In Rhineland-Palatinate, cardholders can visit the ‘Erlebnis-Welt Nürburgring' exhibition and leisure park, Hambach Castle, Eltz Castle, Holiday Park Hassloch, Sea Life Speyer and 16 of Rhineland-Palatinate's ‘Castles, Palaces and Antiquities', for example - the Roman buildings in Trier and Ehrenbreitstein Fortress in Koblenz.
As well as castles and museums, visitors can choose from theme parks, zoos, fun pools, thermal baths, nature parks, boat cruises and sightseeing tours.
Holders of the Rhineland-Palatinate & SaarlandCard can choose from three card types: a 24-hour card, a three-day card or a six-day card. The TouristCard is ‘ all-inclusive': visitors buy the chip card, then enjoy free admission to ALL the various attractions for the certain number of days from April to the beginning of November.
Each card comes with a free 150-page colour illustrated Marco-Polo ‘Rhineland-Palatinate & Saarland' travel guide. Besides being packed with information on all the participating destinations, listed according to region or type, the guide also contains a summary of the benefits and prices of the Rhineland-Palatinate & SaarlandCard.
