
Punt along in the Spree Forest Region
The 287 sq. km. forested area of the Spree Forest (Spreewald) is bisected by over 400 km of rivers, canals and streams and was declared a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO in 1990. The area is fantastic for hiking, punting and fishing. The best access to the Spree Forest is from the picturesque town of Lübbenau.
