Gateway to the Upper Middle Rhine Valley.
The town of Koblenz is located at the confluence of the rivers Rhine and Moselle and is known as the gateway to the Upper Middle Rhine Valley. The town’s roots go back more than 2000 years and during 2002 the “Upper Middle Rhine Valley” was added to the prestigious UNESCO World Heritage List of protected cultural landscapes.
