Hall of Peace (Old Town Hall) - it was here that parts of the Westphalian Peace agreement were completed at the end of the Thirty Years’ War in 1648
The "Baroque Island": The St Clement’s Church rotunda with its Baroque gardens in the old town centre, the Erbdrostenhof (city residence of the hereditary stewards of Münster) and the Dominican Church with a Roman baroque facade and an octagonal cupola
St Paul’s Cathedral which is in the heart of the city and built in the 13th century during the period from Romanesque to Gothic
The Lake Aa and the All-seasons Zoo with the brand-new Westphalian Equestrian museum
The Residence built by Johann Conrad Schlaun which hosts the Westphalian-Wilhelms University (55.000 students altogether)
