Town Hall (Rathaus ) - a gothic structure from the mid-14th century with its famous Friedenssaal (Hall of Peace). In addition ensure you visit the Stadtweinhaus (City Wine House), a northern neighbour of the Town Hall. Formerly the city scales and the stocks of wine, for which the council held the monopoly, were housed here.
