Art Gallery Domenican Church
The Dominican Church, built around 1300, is one of the most beautiful exhibition rooms in Northern Germany. In 1991 the sacred building became the city of Osnabrücks art gallery, presenting outstanding contemporary art projects. Former exhibitions include works by Max Uhlig, Werner Büttner, Yvonne Goulbier, Gerd Winner, Andreas von Weizsäcker, Heiner Altmeppen and Trak Wendisch. Returning each year, the European Media Art Festival is the framework for one of the most comprehensive presentations of international media art.
