The Old Quarter of Lübeck
Witnesses to Lübeck's golden days are found on every corner in the Old Quarter.
In 1987, UNESCO listed the Old Quarter in it's register of the world's great cultural treasures with more than 1000 buildings.
Lübeck's best-known landmark, however, is the Holstentor City Gate (1464).
