The Ehrenbreitstein Fortress near Koblenz
High above the Ehrenbreitstein district is the Ehrenbreitstein fortress, a masterpiece of military architecture and one of the strongest castles built in Europe after 1815.
Inside the castle is the State Museum and on 27th & 28th July 2007, the stage for ‘Horizonte' World Festival of Culture. You will see an amazing mixture of traditional and contemporary music from artists from all over the world.
