Schloss Ehrenburg (Coburg)
Admire the twenty-eight statues of Atlas which hold up the baroque ceiling of the Hall of Giants in Schloss Ehrenburg, the lavish palace of the Dukes of Coburg, in Coburg. The palace had been Prince Albert’s childhood home and Queen Victoria stayed here in 1860 - her room had the first flushing toilet in Germany.
