Tropical Islands in the Middle of Germany?
The South Seas are now located close to Berlin - and it’s huge!
Step into a unique tropical world. Discover a whole holiday island with sandy beaches, a jungle and native village whilst enjoying themed shows and entertainment for all.
The South Seas provide highlights of all the tropical regions of the world under one gigantic self-supporting roof. The dome, at 107 metres high, provides enough space to house the Statue of Liberty, and if that’s not enough, there is 16 acres of space to roam around which promises leisure and fun in new dimensions.
One of the main features of the island is the biggest rainforest in Europe with more than 20,000 plants and trees.
Follow the kilometre long path to see orchids, mangroves, carnivorous plants, gorgeous blossoms and exotic fruits to get a real flavour of life in tropics. In addition, there are buildings and dwellings from Asia, South America, Africa and the South Seas with local dancers that tell stories of the life and culture in these exotic places.
Of course, your tropical experience wouldn’t be complete without being able to sample fantastic food along the way and you can be sure there will be something unusual to tempt your taste buds.
Summer at the Tropical Island never ends. It's a paradise with temperatures maintained at a comfortable 25° Celsius.
