Try the traditional Westphalian Ham, Pumpernickel or the schnapps known as ‘Korn'. This local spirit still has the fragrance of the ripe grain fields. Another highlight of the Westphalian cuisine are the famous Westphalian Töttchen. Once known only as food to the poor nowadays Töttchen is one of the regions specialties.
