Museums in Münster
Among Münster's 30 museums are the Pablo Picasso Museum of Graphic Art, the Contemporary Art exhibition hall at the Kreativkai and the Museum of Lacquer Art. The Westphalian Museum of Art and Cultural History celebrates its 100th anniversary in 2008. To mark the jubilee it presents the special exhibition "Destinations of Desire - Travelling with Artists" concerning the fascinating vayages of famous painters like Dürer, Macke or van Gogh.
Art can also be found in public sphere, where over 60 sculptures enrich the city.
