Museum of Art
March 5th 2005 saw the opening of a unique museum building right in the heart of Stuttgart: the Stuttgart Museum of Art. The spectacular glass cube captivates by virtue of its elegant simplicity. By day its glass corridors invite visitors to enjoy a wonderful view over the city and its surrounding hills; at night the cube floats above the Kleiner Schlossplatz like a fascinating light sculpture. Its main attraction is the exceptional Municipal Art Collection spread over an area of approximately 5.000 sq.m.
